This mark was originally designed as a rebrand of an existing company, focused on creating a mark that better represents their audience. The Art Workshop of New Jersey was seeking out a designer to create a mark that would better display their business, which is centered around children, artists, and musicians. While trying to combine the concepts of music, art and learning, I came up with a series of logos. Using gestalt and abstract shapes within other shapes, I came up with a series of marks that could be interpreted in a few different ways. For this logo, I kept the colors black and white because it makes the mark feel much more versatile.
